All documents are held in virtual folders with access granted to specific security user groups. Each user work on the documents on the basis of its role, which can permit reading and/or updating privilege.
Documents can be re-organised and shared in hierarchical "views" which are dynamically updated with the up-to-date version of the documents. Documents in views can be categorized in "classes" assigned to users workgroups in charge of their maintenance; this organization permits the creation of a multi-level docuemntal repository generated by several user groups, each for its responsibility/area/role (multi-department, multi-role, multi-site, multi-company).
Powerful built-in search-by-content functions allows the user to retrieve, read and download all documents to which he has access premissions.
All functions operates via Internet World Wide Web (under SSL encryption where required) to provide access to a global user basis extended to partners, consultants, auditors, etc., regardless of their geographical location.
